CD Sunday Challenge - Anything Goes - Happy 21st Birthday

Hello and Welcome to my blog.

A new challenge has started over at CD Sunday Challenge and this time the theme is Anything Goes.  I used items from Crafters Companion Kimono range to create my card:

I used an 8 x 8 card base and covered it with this pretty backing paper printed from the Kimono      cd-rom.  I embossed the teal Co-ordinations card using a Kimono embossing folder.  The main image is printed from the cd-rom and decoupaged.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp sat on a Spellbinders die-cut.  All the other dies are from Crafters Companion and each has had enamelling magic added to them.

Happy Birthday Grandad

Hello and welcome to my blog today.  Today see's the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Challenge and the theme for this challenge is 'A Gardener's World'.  Here is my card:

I used a decoupaged image and sentiment from Katy Sue designs.  The bunting is a die from Crafters' Companion as is the trellis.  I needed a green for my lettering and leaves that would tie in with the main image, so printed this from Creative Crafting Worlds Perfect Papercrafting Companions cd.  The lilac for the flowers on the trellis was also printed from the same cd.  This is such a useful cd to have, I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is the inside of the card.  I coloured the letters using promarkers.

CD Sunday Challenge - Things To Eat - Second Entry

I hope that you are coping with this very hot weather.

This is my second entry into the current challenge over at CD Sunday Challenge which has a theme of 'Things to Eat' chosen by Jane.

For this card I used my Pollyanna Pickering 'The Story Continues' cd-rom, and chose to use an image from Chapter One - the gorgeous Great Tit.  I printed off the beautifully patterned insert which I trimmed down to use on the front of my card.  I matted this onto black card, then gold linen card.  I printed off the decorative border from the same cd and stamped the sentiment using stamps from Lili of the Valley.  The remainder of the insert was used on the inside of my card.

This is such a beautiful image painted by a wonderfully talented lady who is very sadly missed.

CD Sunday Challenge - Things To Eat

There is a new challenge over at CD Sunday and this time the theme is 'Things To Eat',  Here is my card:

I think from the expression on the horses face, it is safe to say carrots are his favourite things to eat!  I used Thelwell cd-rom from Crafters Companion to make my card.  The main image is decoupaged and then matted onto kraft card.  The backing paper is from the same cd-rom.  I printed out a further co-ordinating backing paper from the cd to make the rosette.  The sentiment stamp in the centre of the rosette is from Lili of the Valley.

May Your Day Be Filled With Sunshine

I needed to make a special birthday card, so used one of my favourite crafting ranges, Paper Boutique from Creative Crafting World.  This is from their Sunflower Song collection:

I used a 7" x 10" card blank from Creative Crafting World and 2 different papers from the Sunflower Song popper pad.  I used card from Lynda Chapman's Woodstock range, die cut using dies from the Paper Boutique Live, Laugh, Love Collection.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also a Paper Boutique die.  The circle topper is also from the Sunflower Song collection.  The quality is excellent.  I added gems from Joanna Sheen to the centres of the flowers in the die and the corners of the card.

I would like to enter my card into the current challenge at UnstampaBelles Challenge which is Flowers with the addition of bling.

Beautiful Blooms

There are 2 challenges I always try and join in with.  The first is The CD Sunday Challenge and the other is Creative Crafting Worlds challenge.  Unfortunately, I've missed the last few CD Sunday Challenges as I've just not felt up to crafting.  This week, however, my husband asked me to make a special card for a colleague so I tied the theme in with the current challenge at CD Sunday which is 'Beautiful Blooms'.

Here is my card:

I used Centura Pearl card from Crafters Companion, The die is also from Crafters Companion.  I made the flower pot and butterfly from paper clay.  Flowers from my stash and decorative pins, pearls and feathers. The leaves were cut using a Cheery Lynn die.  The paper behind the vase came from a free cd-rom.

The insert was printed from a Pollyanna Pickering cd-rom:

I'm pleased to say she was delighted with her card.

CD Sunday Challenge - Second Entry

Hi

Here is my second entry into the 'No Patterned Papers' challenge over at CD Sunday Challenge:

For this card I used a decoupaged image from the Jolly Nation Men's cd-rom.  I coloured the couples hair a different colour to match the hair colour of the couple I am sending it to!  The shape that the couple are sat on was created using a glitter girls embossing board.  I added tiny gems around the edges.

All the card used was from PaperMill and the sentiment was stamped using a Lili Of The Valley stamp.

CD Sunday Challenge - No Patterned Papers

Hello

This is my first entry into the new challenge over at CD Sunday Challenge, which this time has a theme of No Patterned Papers:

The decoupaged image is printed from a Docrafts cd-rom, Tulip and Friends.  I embossed the pale blue card (from Papermill) using a clouds embossing folder, and die cut all the lettering from holographic cardstock using Memory box dies.

Happy Birthday From BeBunni

I hope your week is going well.

I'm back with my second entry into the current challenge over at The CD Sunday Challenge Blog which has a theme of Rabbit, Rabbit.  This time I turned to one of my BeBunni cd-roms from Crafters' Companion to make my card:

I used a 6 x 6 card blank and selected 2 backing papers from the cd-rom, along with the super cute topper.  I die cut 2 matching spellbinders border dies from Lynda Chapman's white card stock and inked used a pink distressing ink before removing from the die.

I added a silver birthday peel-off to complete the front of my card.

I put a matching insert inside the card, also printed from the cd-rom, but forgot to take a phone of it before posting!

Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique - Tutti Frutti Collection

My card for today uses more products from my favourite craft supplier - Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique, Tutti Frutti Collection.  This set is on offer now at an exceptional price and I can vouch for the quality:

This was a new style of card for me, and although it took quite a bit of time, I am very pleased with how it came out.  It's been a lovely sunny day here today, and I thought the colours in this card so appropriate.

Everything used to make this card, with the exception of the gems, came from Creative Crafting World.  Lynda's white card was used to create the card base, and gold card for all the mats.  The backing papers, sentiments and toppers all came from the Tutti Frutti collection.  The gems were from my stash.

CD Sunday Challenge - Rabbit, Rabbit

Hello and Welcome

A new challenge has started over at CD Sunday Challenge and the theme this time is 'Rabbit, Rabbit' chosen by Pamela.  I've got so many cd's that I could use for this challenge I'm spoilt for choice.  However, as luck would have it, I was part way through creating a new baby card with an image that included a rabbit.  I didn't want to miss out on such an opportunity, so put the finishing touches to my card, and here it is:

There was lots of fussy-cutting involved for this card!  The main image is a decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen which I matted onto silver mirror card from Create & Craft.  The gingham paper is from the Seraphina Alphabet collection cd-rom from Creative Crafting World.  The navy card is from PaperMill.  The ribbon and twine were from Joanna Sheen and the little bear charm was from e-bay.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp, stamped using silver ink.  The pom-pom trim is from e-bay.

Tranquil Days - Let's Celebrate

Hello and welcome to my blog.

This is a birthday card I have made for a friend using the gorgeous Paper Boutique Tranquil Days collection from Creative Crafting World:

The lilac card stock is a pearlescent card from Crafters' Companion.  The white card is Lynda Chapman's. The beautiful die cut frame, mat and circle with stitched detail, are from Creative Crafting World.  The ribbons and pearls are from my stash.
