Ready Teddy Go

Hello again

I've spent the afternoon in the company of my favourite teddy, Teddy Bea!

I happened across a new challenge called Ready Teddy Go and for their current challenge there is a fabulous sketch to follow.

Teddy Bea is coloured with coloursoft pencils.The sky was added with Distress Ink on a cotton wool ball.  The die cut shape is a Crafts Too die.  These are excellent value for money.  I go mine from Cupcakecrafting.  I created a faux die from Core'dinations for the image to sit on.

The backing paper  has been in my stash for ages and was from Making Cards magazine.  The pansies are from La Pashe 'The Big One' cd-rom, the Build a Blossom section.  I printed the sheets onto A6 size paper to get the size of pansies I wanted.

This is my second entry into this weeks CD Sunday Challenge:

When I saw the topic I also wanted to make a card with the lovely Paintbox Poppets cd-rom from Crafters Companion.

My chosen image is from the decoupage section printed onto glossy photo paper.  The backing papers are both from the cd-rom, as are the flowers.  The lovely ribbon is from Joanna Sheen.  The oval she is sat on is a Spellbinders die cut into Core'dinations card.

Good Evening

I've not had a very good few days pain-wise, hence the lack of blogging.  My card for today will really make you go aaaahhhhhh:

It is made using the Furry Friends cd-rom from Joanna Sheen.  I printed the main image twice onto glossy photo paper so I could decoupage the puppy.  The backing papers are also from the cd-rom.  The border down the centre is edge-punched using an EK Success border punch.  The sentiment tag is a Spellbinders die.

Finishing Touches

Good Evening

My card for today is made using the Nostalgia cd-rom from Joanna Sheen.

The main image is printed onto a glossy photo paper and decoupaged.  The backing paper is printed onto matt photo paper.

This is the inside of the card:

I've used an insert printed from the cd-rom and some little accents, matted onto red card.

My card is for the current challenge at Paper Sundaes which is finishing touches.

A Thank You Card

Good Morning

Good luck to everyone who is receiving exam results today.

Yesterday a close friend of mine took me and Emma out for lunch. We had a lovely meal and also a lovely catch up, and we all had a wonderful time.

My card for today is a Thank You card I am sending to my friend.

The card is made using image and background papers from Joanna Sheen's Dancing with Shadows cd-rom.  I have only recently acquired this cd and this is the first card I have made using it.  I used a black cardstock for the base card, and cut the ovals out of the same cardstock using some Nellie Snellen dies.  The flowers (which show up much better in real life) are cut from the same backing paper using Nellie Snellen punches and a little gem is also added to the centre of each flower.

My GP has started me on some new medication, and to say I feel a bit 'out of it' is an under-statement.  If any of my posts don't make sense at the moment, I'll blame it on my meds!!!
