Here is my card which I made for a good friends' birthday:

All the elements for the front of the card are from Hunkydory.  The image, frame and sentiment were from a Hunkydory magazine.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge # 95 - Hosted by Carol

 Good morning and welcome

The shorter days are drawing in and I'm already starting to feel the effects.  All this rain isn't much good for me either!  Fortunately, I'm up early in the morning so get to enjoy as much daylight as possible.  I'm keeping busy with my crafting.  I've recently discovered the Groovi system and am enjoy loosing myself in this craft.  I've got a lot to learn but will enjoy the journey.

Bailey is keeping me smiling and is always on hand to give a wonderful doggy cuddle whenever I need it.  He really is pure joy! 

Emma has gone back to Uni for her 4th and final year.  I make no secret of how incredibly proud I am of her.  We are all missing her but she is hoping to get home more regularly this year (especially when Manchester City are playing at home!).

Already it's time to start a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and we are all looking forward to seeing your creations.  Here is my card for this challenge:

The rose is from Tattered Lace, die cut with the matching dies then decoupaged.  The card is Hunkydory Adorable Scorable and the papers are Vintage Rose Garden from Creative Crafting World.  Finished with a pretty butterfly.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #49 - Hosted by Pamela

Good Morning

Welcome to my blog today

Today sees the start of our next challenge and this time Pamela is our hostess. Our theme is Anything Goes - as well as following the theme of the challenge, a CD, USB or Digital images, or any combination thereof, must have been used somewhere in the making of the card or project. It doesn’t have to be the whole card but it can be. It can be as small as perhaps a sentiment or a piece of backing paper- but there has to be some CD, USB or Digital source content somewhere together with everything else you have used. THE SOURCE MUST BE NAMED AND CREDITED.

Here is my card:

I used a pattern download from Stitchingcards.com.  centura Pearl card from Crafters Companion and Rainbow Mirri from Hunkydory.

Say it with flowers

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog.  My card today uses dies and a digital download from Carnation Crafts.  I love their dies and am building up quite a collection!

I used one of the dies in the set to create my csrd blank. The flowers are decoupaged as is the sentiment.  I die-cut the smaller lettering using dies from Hunkydory.

I'm really pleased with how this has turned out. It took quite a while to make, but I think it was worth it.

I'd like to enter my card into the current challenge over at CD Sunday Plus which is Anything Goes.

CD Sunday - 9th Birthday

Hello

CD Sunday are celebrating their 9th Birthday.  I love this challenge as it encourages me to use my CD's.  As it's a special celebration, I've gone to town and made three cards using a different cd for each.  My first card used the BeBunni baby cd-rom from Crafters' Companion.  I've made an eclipse card to welcome a new baby:

I used Create and Craft Glitter Card for the mat and flowers.  Hunkydory large alphabet dies for the letters, Sue Wilson Dies for the flowers and pearls from my stash.

CD Sunday Challenge - Autumn Days

Hello and welcome to my blog.

This is my entry into the current challenge over at CD Sunday Challenge and this time Jane has chosen the theme of Autumn Days.

This is the birthday card I have made for my brother-in-law.  The beautiful topper and decorative strip across the top are from Hunkydory.  I created an A5 card blank from Kraft card and then added a step to the front of the card so I could put an acetate cover on it.  I used some gold card from matting and layering and embossed some craft card using this beautiful embossing folder covered in leaves.  The ribbon for the bow and the Happy Birthday peel offs are from my stash.

For the inside of my card I re-visited an insert I had recently used.  The paper and insert are from Creative Crafting Worlds Pollyanna Pickering The Story so Far cd-rom.  I think this is lovely wording without being too much.  The card I used is gold and I have no idea why the colour is so out.  I can only think it's because the light wasn't great when I photographed it but I was in a rush to get the card in the post and forgot to check it first!

Crafty Calendar Challenge March - Add Some Metal

Hello and a warm welcome to my blog.

Another month has flown by which means it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month we would like you to add some metal to your card.

Our sponsor for this month is our very own Kimberly.  Here is my card:

I used white linen card from Crafters Companion to create my card base.

The main image and the backing paper it's sat on, are both from a Hunkydory kit called 'What a Hoot'.  I created a large tag for the image to sit on so that it could be used as a bookmark, and tied harlequin ribbon from Create & Craft through the top, tied into a bow.  I attached my metal owl charm (from ebay) to some twine and threaded this through as well.  I added the bookmark to the card using foam pads to that it can easily be removed.

I die-cut the beautiful panels using Memorybox 'Delicate Butterfly Arch' die and then cut extra butterflies and flowers which I layered using foam pads.  I added tiny silver gems to the owls eyes and to the centres of all the flowers, it looks really good in real life but doesn't show up so well in the photo!  Finally I added silver peel offs to the corners.

Christmas Friends

My card for today uses decoupage from Hunkydory.  It looks much better in real life, I'm really pleased with how this turned out:

I created an easel card using Snow White centura pearl card

Snowflake patterned card is also Hunkydory

I used some snowfall acetate (also from Hunkydory) which I attached in a bow shape over the decoupage.

The letters were cut using X-cut and Memorybox letter dies.
