I hope your week is going well.

I'm back with my second entry into the current challenge over at The CD Sunday Challenge Blog which has a theme of Rabbit, Rabbit.  This time I turned to one of my BeBunni cd-roms from Crafters' Companion to make my card:

I used a 6 x 6 card blank and selected 2 backing papers from the cd-rom, along with the super cute topper.  I die cut 2 matching spellbinders border dies from Lynda Chapman's white card stock and inked used a pink distressing ink before removing from the die.

I added a silver birthday peel-off to complete the front of my card.

I put a matching insert inside the card, also printed from the cd-rom, but forgot to take a phone of it before posting!

Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique - Tutti Frutti Collection

Hello

My card for today uses more products from my favourite craft supplier - Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique, Tutti Frutti Collection.  This set is on offer now at an exceptional price and I can vouch for the quality:

This was a new style of card for me, and although it took quite a bit of time, I am very pleased with how it came out.  It's been a lovely sunny day here today, and I thought the colours in this card so appropriate.

Everything used to make this card, with the exception of the gems, came from Creative Crafting World.  Lynda's white card was used to create the card base, and gold card for all the mats.  The backing papers, sentiments and toppers all came from the Tutti Frutti collection.  The gems were from my stash.

CD Sunday Challenge - Rabbit, Rabbit

Hello and Welcome

A new challenge has started over at CD Sunday Challenge and the theme this time is 'Rabbit, Rabbit' chosen by Pamela.  I've got so many cd's that I could use for this challenge I'm spoilt for choice.  However, as luck would have it, I was part way through creating a new baby card with an image that included a rabbit.  I didn't want to miss out on such an opportunity, so put the finishing touches to my card, and here it is:

There was lots of fussy-cutting involved for this card!  The main image is a decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen which I matted onto silver mirror card from Create & Craft.  The gingham paper is from the Seraphina Alphabet collection cd-rom from Creative Crafting World.  The navy card is from PaperMill.  The ribbon and twine were from Joanna Sheen and the little bear charm was from e-bay.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp, stamped using silver ink.  The pom-pom trim is from e-bay.

Tranquil Days - Let's Celebrate

Hello and welcome to my blog.

This is a birthday card I have made for a friend using the gorgeous Paper Boutique Tranquil Days collection from Creative Crafting World:

The lilac card stock is a pearlescent card from Crafters' Companion.  The white card is Lynda Chapman's. The beautiful die cut frame, mat and circle with stitched detail, are from Creative Crafting World.  The ribbons and pearls are from my stash.

This is my second entry into the latest challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Sketches can be so helpful when you are struggling for ideas:

This is a card I've made for a friend who likes to cook.  I used a decoupaged image from Joanna Sheen and printed a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's RHS cd-rom.  I embossed some orange card from PaperMill using a Crafters' Companion embossing folder.  The red card is also from PaperMill and the black card is from Lynda Chapman at Creative Crafting World.  The red eyelets are from my stash.

Be Like The Sunflower

Hello

I love Sunflowers.  They are such beautiful, cheery flowers.  So when Creative Crafting World brought out their Sunflower Song collection, I just couldn't resist.

I wanted to send a card to my sister, hopefully to cheer her up a little after the awful time we've been having lately, and this seemed the perfect sentiment.

I used one of Lynda Chapman's 8 x 8 card blanks.  Chocolate brown and dark green cardstock was used for the mats and the die.  The die is a Paper Boutique die called It's Time To Celebrate, isn't it gorgeous?  Both the beautiful backing papers came from the paper kit along with the topper.  The pearls and the ribbon were from my stash.

Have A Hoot Of A Day

Hello

Sleep eludes me once again tonight, so I decided to spend some time making a card.  I followed the current sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches to create the following card:

I used a 6 s 6 fancy edged card blank from Kanban for my base card.  I added to this 2 backing papers from the Paper Boutique Hint Of A Hoot Collection from Creative Crafting World.  I cut the stitched-edge circle die (again from Creative Crafting World) into white card and added to this one of the fabulous die-cut toppers that come in this collection.

House Mouse and Friends - Anything Goes and/or Bunnies

This is my entry into the current challenge over at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge:

The decoupage image, backing paper and sentiment are all printed from a Joanna Sheen cd-rom.  I used Lynda Chapman's Black Card for my mats and some gems from my stash.

This card was made for my daughter to give to her friend called Poppy!

Butterfly Wishes

Hello again

Two posts in one day, whatever is the world coming to!

This is my second entry into the current Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and my third and final entry into the Creative Crafting World Blog Challenge:

I followed the sketch once again, this time replacing one of the circles with a butterfly to tie-in with the papers I used.

I used Lynda Chapman's white card from Creative Crafting World to create my card blank, and used papers and a topper from the Paper Boutique Butterfly Garden also from Creative Crafting World.  The dies I used were from Spellbinders, Tonic and Crafters' Companion, and the white pearls are also from Crafters' Companion and the pink are Anita's.

Wild At HeART

I hope those Mothers' among us have had a lovely day today.  My girls have made sure my day has been special, I am very lucky.  I miss my mum terribly, but know she will always be with me.

Thursday night I couldn't sleep at all, so made a card using products from Creative Crafting World and following the current sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches:

The main image and backing papers were bought from Create & Craft recently,  They were bought as a die-cut medley and backing paper medley.  I believe the image is from the Wild at HeART collection, but don't know which collections the backing papers were from.  I thought they picked colours out of the main image, and the the green paper worked really well too.  The card for the mats and layers are various shades of browns from my stash, cut using circle and scalloped circle dies.  The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the orange gems from Create & Craft.  I used white card from Creative Crafting World to make the base card.

Fox In The Wild

Hello

I am trying to loose myself in my crafting this week.  This card again fits in with the current challenge at CD Sunday Challenge - In The Wild:

The backing paper and main image are printed from Pollyanna Pickering's Sketch Book V - British Wildlife cd-rom from Creative Crafting World.  The sentiment is from one of their sentiment popper pads and the doily has been cut on my Silhouette using a cutting file and Lynda Chapman's black card.

In The Wild

Hello and Welcome to my blog today.

Thank you to everyone who left me such lovely messages on my last post.  They mean a lot to me.  At times I find crafting whilst listening to music to be a good distraction, and I found this to be the case today when I needed to make some cards.  This is one of the cards I made which fits in perfectly with the new challenge over at CD Sunday, which this challenge has a theme of 'In the Wild'.

Anyone who has any of Pollyanna Pickerings cd's from Creative Crafting World will be very well equipped to join in with this challenge.  For my card I used the very latest Polly Pickering release - British Wild At HeART:

The image and backing paper used on the front of my card were from the Papercraft Kit that came with the cd-rom.  The die cut frame and sentiment, along with the flowers and leaves are all Paper Boutique dies from Creative Crafting World and I cannot recommend them highly enough.  They all cut like a dream, and even when using the thickest of cards, only require 2 passes through my die-cutting machine, on most occasions, they cut with just one pass.  The card I used was from PaperMill and Lynda Chapman's world of paper.  The gems were from Joanna Sheen.

The cd element of my card is the insert, which was printed from the British Wild at Heart cd-rom:

The inserts come in lots of different sizes and are text-editable.

CD Sunday Challenge - Second Entry

Hello and Welcome

I'm very sad to say that we have had yet more bad news.  I have been trying to distract myself with my crafting but my heart isn't really in it just now.

After loosing my dad on Boxing Day, I recently got the tragic news that my older sister has died from a very rare brain disease.  She was just 50 years old and leaves a husband and 3 children.

I decided to make a second entry for the current challenge over at CD Sunday.  This time I have made a Thank You card:

I've had this cute little bear decoupage in my stash for a while and thought it time he saw the light of day!  The sparkly balloon backing paper was a freebie with a magazine some time ago.  I used red card from PaperMill for my mats and layers.  The dies are my Marianne Designs.  The red gingham paper is my CD element and this was printed from Seraphina Alphabet Collection cd-rom
