The current challenge over at Ready Teddy Go Challenge - is to make a card with a number on.  Here is my card:

I followed the sketch at Stamp With Fun to create my card.

6 x 6 card blank

Teddy Bea stamped in Memento cocoa ink and coloured with Spectrum Noirs

Nellie Snellen oval dies used, cut from cardstock from PaperMill

Backing paper and ribbon border came free in a magazine.

Butterfly from my stash (part of a blog prize I won)

Velour number also from my stash.

My card today is a birthday card for a good friend.  I use Joanna Sheen's Cameo and Lace stamps to create my card:

6 x 6 card blank

Pale blue cardstock from Papermill.

Stamps stamped and heat embossed using fine detail embossing powder.

The current challenge over at Divas by Design is a sketch to follow.  Here is my take on the sketch:

This is a card for my daughter to sent to one of her best friends who is a big cat lover.

Base card 8 x 8 decorative edged card from Cupcakecrafting

Image printed from Joanna Sheen's housemouse project cd-rom onto glossy photo paper and matted onto silver them lilac card from Papermill.

Backing paper from Housemouse inserts cd-rom, printed onto satin finish paper.

Central paper embossed using a Darice Embossing folder and then trimmed.

Sentiment stamp from a WOW Stamp Set, as is the flourish, stamped in silver metallic ink.

Olympic Dad

My youngest daughter, Emma, thoroughly enjoyed all the Olympic coverage, so when it was time for her to make a Birthday card for her dad, she decided to make her card have an Olympic theme:

Emma came up with the idea and then drew and coloured the card.  Then we printed off the faces which she attached to the card along with the speech bubbles.  I think she did an excellent job.  She spent many hours getting it just right.
