I have a card to share with you today that was a special order from a friend.  My friend told me what she wanted on the card and I then came up with the following design:

Stitched on 14 count white Aida using DMC threads.

Good Morning

Thank you all for your good wishes for Sarah.  It's very strange thinking she's left home, feels more like she's on holiday at the moment!  I spoke to her via SKYPE yesterday and it really put my mind at rest, she seems very relaxed and happy and is sharing with a lovely group of people.  Also she was able to show me round her room which was lovely as I don't know when I'm going to be up to travelling over to see her.

Hello

I've another Christmas card to share with you today, made to meet the criteria for a few different challenges:

I created a stepper card for this card.

Red and silver mirror card was used for all the matting and layering.

The three small pictures are attached to the card using strip of acetate to make them 'boing'

I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the snowflake which were then stuck at randon to the card.

I used a corner rounder punch throughout.

The current challenge over at Divas by Design is a sketch to follow.  Here is my take on the sketch:

This is a card for my daughter to sent to one of her best friends who is a big cat lover.

Base card 8 x 8 decorative edged card from Cupcakecrafting

Image printed from Joanna Sheen's housemouse project cd-rom onto glossy photo paper and matted onto silver them lilac card from Papermill.

Backing paper from Housemouse inserts cd-rom, printed onto satin finish paper.

Central paper embossed using a Darice Embossing folder and then trimmed.

Sentiment stamp from a WOW Stamp Set, as is the flourish, stamped in silver metallic ink.
