Willow Sketchie Challenge - Summer Florals

The current challenge over at Willow Sketchie gives us a sketch to follow plus the option of Summer Florals.  I have chosen to use both the sketch and the theme and here is my card:

Pre-stamped LOTV image from magazine, coloured using coloursoft pencil and Distress inks.

Backing papers from Making Cards magazine.

Spellbinders floral oval die used with Core'dinations cardstock.

Martha Stewart scalloped dot punch.

Ribbons from my stash tied on the Bowdabra, flower charm from Pink Gem Designs attached to bow using bakers twine.

Good Morning

My card for today is made using a combination of die-cuts and embossing folders.

The base card is a pearlescent cream from PaperMill.  I embossed some gold mirror board with D'vine swirls embossing folder.  I then embossed some of the cream pearlescent card with a swirly frame embossing folder.  I printed the wording in gold in the centre of the frame.  I combined 2 gold ribbons to make the bow, and die-cut the flowers and leaves from gold card using Marianne Dies.  A pearl was then added to the centre of the flower.

A Day At The Beach

Hello

My card for today is once again using the Adorables range from Jayne Nestorenko.

The scene is a decoupage scene from the cd-rom.  I have then stamped a selection of images from the stamp plates onto watercolour card, and coloured using my Lyra's.

Setting The Scene

Good Morning

My card for today is a 'just because' card that I'm sending to my brother-in-law.  We don't get chance to speak very often so we occasionally send each other cards with an 'update' inside.

The card uses the Countryside Scene-it stamp set from Hobby Art, I LOVE this set of stamps!!

I stamped onto watercolour card using versafine and painted with my Lyra Aquacrayons.  The frame is a lovely pearlescent card from PaperMill, rung through my big shot with an embossing folder to produce the frame.  This is then mounted onto the card base made from a dark brown linen card.
