Mini fanciful flourish die used with Centura Pearl card, mulberry flowers and pearls from my stash.

21st Birthday Easel

My card for today is an easel card, I love this style of card.

Martha Stewart Vintage Floral Punch Around The Page (I've wanted this punch for ages, I'm very happy!!)

Centura Pearl card

Backing paper came free in a magazine, it's gorgeous.

Joanna Sheen Cameo stamp used to create the butterfly lace corner, heat embossed with white fine detail embossing powder.

Spellbinders floral oval dies, largest embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

Marianne die used to create large butterfly, flourishes and large flower.  Memory box die use to create smaller flowers.

Pearls from my stash used to complete the card.

Good Afternoon

I'm pleased to say that the sun is back again today.  Even though I seldom leave the house these days, I do feel better when the sun is out.

Over at Willow Sketchie Challenge this week we have a super sketch to follow.  Here is my take on the sketch:

8 x 8 card blank matted with silver mirror card and backing papers from Joanna Sheen's

 Faye Whittaker cd-rom.

Main image from the decoupage section of the same cd.

A few shells from my stash were used to embellish the card.

I was tempted to add more embellishments but didn't want to take away from the beautiful image.

Don't the months pass by quickly?  I can't believe we're now in June and today sees the start of a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month our theme is 'Flowers In Bloom' with optional swirls/flourishes.  Our sponsor for this month is Crafty Sentiments Designs.

Spotty backing paper came free with a magazine, punched with an x-cut border punch.

Flourish cut with a die-namics die from Dies To Die For

Flowers created using small Picot Edge circle die and coloured paper.

X-cut Botanical punch and emboss punch used to create leaves, 

heat embossed with crystal embossing powder.

Bakers twine and star peel offs used to create bunting from my stash.
