Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique - Tutti Frutti Collection

Hello

My card for today uses more products from my favourite craft supplier - Creative Crafting World Paper Boutique, Tutti Frutti Collection.  This set is on offer now at an exceptional price and I can vouch for the quality:

This was a new style of card for me, and although it took quite a bit of time, I am very pleased with how it came out.  It's been a lovely sunny day here today, and I thought the colours in this card so appropriate.

Everything used to make this card, with the exception of the gems, came from Creative Crafting World.  Lynda's white card was used to create the card base, and gold card for all the mats.  The backing papers, sentiments and toppers all came from the Tutti Frutti collection.  The gems were from my stash.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

This is the Christmas Card I made to send to some very good friends of ours.  I used Creative Crafting Worlds cd-rom Once Upon A Christmas 2 which contains the most beautiful artwork and reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas.

I love how in this image all the animals are stood close by the stable, waiting for news of the birth of Jesus.

Crafty Calendar Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and this month our theme is All Things Christmas.  We are being sponsored by Elizabeth Bell  and the design term were lucky enough to be given some images to work with.  Here is my card:

The lucky winner will receive two digi stamps and the image I've used on my card is included in the prize.

I coloured the image using Spectrum Noir's and added Hunkydory's Snowdrift for an extra wintery look! The lilac card is core'dinations and I used a Marianne Die to cut the beautiful doily the image is sat on.  The co-ordinating backing paper is from my stash.  I die-cut the holly corner from green mirror card to tie in with the holly on her hat, I used a Cheery Lynn die and added some red beads for the berries.  I used a Memory box die to cut the snowflake border from white glitter card, and the sentiment is from Hunkydory.

Crafty Calendar Challenge - November

Hello

Today we launch a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge, I do hope you'll be able to join us.  Our theme for this month is Wrap Up Warm with the option to include Twine, Fibres or String.  We are sponsored by Cedar Chest Designs and we were given some lovely images to create with. Cedar Chest Designs will give the winner of this challenge $10 to spend in store.  This is a new store with lovely digital images and papers and cutting files,  I chose this great image called Georgia and the Snowman.  Here is my card:

8 x 8 fancy edged card blank from CupcakeCrafting.

Image printed onto Joanna Sheen's Elegance Satin Paper and coloured with Spectrum Noirs.

Snowflake backing paper printed from Swalk Winter Cheer cd-rom from Crafter's Companion.

The mitten backing paper which was perfect for the challenge (and decided my colours for me!) came free in a magazine.

I used Core'dinations card for all my matting.

Martha Stewart's Snowflakes punch around the page set was used to create the mat the image is sat on, together with the central strip to which I added some twine.  A stocking charm was added as I felt this again tied in with the theme so well.

The corner die was cut using a Marianne die.

The sentiment mat is a Nellie Snellen die, the sentiment is LOTV stamped in silver metallic ink and the three snowflakes are the 'waste' from the punched borders.

Crafty Calendar Challenge - All Things Spooky

Good morning.

It's the first Saturday of the month which means it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month our challenge is All Things Spooky with the optional extra of Recycle Something.

We get quite a few trick or treaters on Halloween so I decided to make a little gift bag and fill it with sweets.

I used the digi stamp 'Cherry Kisses Witch' from Pollycraft and coloured her with my Spectrum Noir pens.
I cut an oval mat from Core'dinations card to frame my image.
I printed the paper from Joanna Sheen's Cardmakers Year cd-rom onto a light weight card.
The ribbon is my 'Recycled item', this came wrapped around some pyjamas.

I think I'm going to make a few more of these in readiness!

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flowers In Bloom

Don't the months pass by quickly?  I can't believe we're now in June and today sees the start of a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month our theme is 'Flowers In Bloom' with optional swirls/flourishes.  Our sponsor for this month is Crafty Sentiments Designs.

6 x 6 card base.

Spellbinder Picot Edge circle die cut into red cardstock from Create and Craft.

Spotty backing paper came free with a magazine, punched with an x-cut border punch.

Flourish cut with a die-namics die from Dies To Die For

Flowers created using small Picot Edge circle die and coloured paper.

X-cut Botanical punch and emboss punch used to create leaves, 

heat embossed with crystal embossing powder.

Bakers twine and star peel offs used to create bunting from my stash.

Good Morning

Don't the months pass by quickly?  Today see's a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and this month our theme is Love and Marriage with the option of lace and pearls.   This month we are sponsored by the lovely Heather Ellis, and my card uses one of her digi stamps.

I used a 6 x 6 scalloped card blank to which I added a lovely swirly vellum, punched along the bottom with a Martha Stewart border punch.  The mat the gorgeous image is sat on was cut using a Nellie Snellen die.  The image is coloured with a mixture of promarkers and spectrum noirs, and some stickles glitter glue was added to the flowers.

The three flowers are printed from the La Pashe 'The Big One' cd-rom from the Build a Blossom section.  These were layered up and some pearls added to the centres.  The ribbon was from my stash.

Crafty Calendar December Challenge - Cold and Frosty

Good Morning

Don't the months fly by quickly?  It doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was invited to join the design team at Crafty Calendar and here we are on my 3rd month already!

Our theme for this month is cold and frosty and here is my card:

The image I have used is a digi stamp from Pollycrafts Swing and Slides range, I love this range of stamps! I coloured the image using promarkers and coloursoft pencils and added some Glossy Accents to the girls glasses, the snowmans nose, eyes and buttons.  I then added some Pinflair Snow Dust around their feet.

The backing papers are from Crafters Companion Snowman cd-rom.  The embossing uses an embossing plate that came in a bundle when I bought my big shot.  The mats that the image and sentiment are sat on are cut using spellbinders dies.  The crystal snowflakes have been in my stash for ages, they were ridiculously expensive and I find it difficult to bring myself to use them!!!  All the edges were distressed using Faded Jeans Distress Ink and Cut N Dry Foam.

A Day At The Beach

Good Morning

And what a beautiful morning it is too.

My card for today is made using a digi stamp from Pink Gem Designs.

The image is coloured using coloursoft pencils.  The backing papers are all from a previous issue of making cards magazine.  The flowers are made using Nellie Snellen punches from the same paper with a tiny pearl from Joanna Sheen added to the centres.
