CD Sunday Plus Challenge #159 - Hosted by Me

Good morning

Already it's time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus.  I hope you've all been enjoying the lovely weather and have managed to get out in the sunshine.

This challenge, I'm sharing a card I've made for a friends birthday, she has 2 daughters and a son so I thought this image very fitting:

I used an image from my Faye Whittaker cd-rom from Joanna Sheen which I made into decoupage.  I used an embossing folder that I've had in my stash for a very long time, and made the little shells using paper clay and a mould from Katy Sue designs.

The sentiment I chose is a Phill Martin Sentiment, stamped using grey Versamark Ink.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #158 - Hosted by Meg

Hello and welcome

Today is the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and Meg is our host.

Here is my card;

For my card is used this stunning Jaguar image from Pollyanna Pickering World Wildlife dvd-rom by Creative Crafting World.  The image is a twisted pyramage and all the elements are printed from the dvd-rom.  I simply added Lynda Chapman's black card for all the mats.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #157 - Hosted by Pamela

Good morning and welcome to my blog.

I hope you've had a lovely Easter and managed not to over-indulge on the chocolate.  We had a lovely time with family and the sun even shone for us!

It's hard to believe that it's time for our next challenge already and we're almost at the end of April!  I must say though, I'm very glad of the warmer weather and longer daylight hours!

For my card today I revisited one of my many hardly used cd-rom's.  It's artwork by the fabulous Pollyanna Pickering from A Winter's Tale cd-rom by Creative Crafting World

I recently discovered that you can change pdf files into jpegs using microsoft!  Happy days!  So I changed the image into a jpeg, took it into My Craft Studio and made it into decoupage.  Now unfortunately, you can't really see the dimension in the photo, but in real life the robin and other layers really stand out!

It's such a gorgeous image I didn't feel I needed to add much else, so just added the gems to the corners and left it there.

I must say, I find My Craft Studio quite challenging!  If anyone can recommend any other graphics programme that are more 'user friendly' (and good for someone who struggles with technology!), I'd be very grateful.

House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge

 Here is my second entry into the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge which is Anything Goes with the option of Spring/Easter:

I took the image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse cd-rom and turned it into decoupage, then matted it onto some silver card.  I printed the accompanying backing paper from the cd-rom.

I then quilled the 3 ducks using strips of the appropriately coloured paper and added a bead for each of their eyes.

I decided against putting a sentiment on the front of the card as thought it could be used for a number of different occasions.  This was such a fun card to make!

House-mouse & Friends Monday Challenge

 Hello

This is my entry into the latest House-Mouse & Friends challenge.  I don't enter many challenges these days, but do like to try and enter this one.

The theme for this challenge is Spring or Easter so |I went with spring.

The image is from Joanna Sheen's House-mouse triple cd-rom, and I took the image into My Craft Studio to make it into decoupage.

I used the accompanying backing paper, which I cut in half and used the other half as the insert.  Yellow caes from my stash was added to complete the card.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #156 - Hosted by Meg

Good morning and welcome

It's already time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus - how the week's are flying by!

We were recently invited to a wedding and this is the card I made for the bride and groom.

I used various Sue Wilson and Memory box dies to make my card.

This is the insert which was printed from A Touch of Elegance cd-rom by Creative Crafting World.  I thought it worked well for a wedding card.

Carol is still not able to join us for this challenge so Meg is our hostess.

House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #437

 Hello & welcome

This is my entry into the latest challenge at House-Mouse & Friends - Anything Goes.  I've made this card for my sister's birthday.  I used an image from the Gruffies & Happy Hoppers cd-rom.

I lovely the happy hoppers and took the image into My Craft Studio and turned it into decoupage.  I embossed some toning card with a cupcake embossing folder.  I have lots of embossing folders, many never used, and am determined to include more embossing on my cards this year!

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #155 - Hosted by Jocelyn

 Time is flying by so quickly and today is the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus.  We hope you'll be able to join us.

A friend of ours has a special birthday and is also retiring from being a gardener.  I re-visited an old cd to make my card - The Big One by La Pashe, and had a lot of fun creating it.

It's a 'front and back' card and is also decoupaged.  Here is the back of the image:

The sentiment and insert are from the same cd-rom, and I added a die-cut number to complete the card.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #154 - Hosted by Margaret

 It's time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and this time Margaret is our host.

I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful entries into our last challenge and now have the difficult job of choosing my Top 3.

For this challenge, I have used artwork from the wonderful Bree Merryn:

This gorgeous image is from the Cuties In Booties cd-rom by MCS.

I turned the image into decoupage and matted it onto some lovely matt-foil cardstock from my stash.  I used my teardrop and sweep dies by Carnation Craft to cut the pretty frame out of grey card.  The backing paper is from the same cd-rom.

I stamped the sentiment using a Lily of the Valley stamp in grey ink.  I added some pearls from Hunkydory to complete my card.

I made the card for a friend to give to her mum.  Her mum loves robins so I'm hoping she likes the card.

House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #435 - Anything Goes with option of an Easel Card

This is my entry into the latest challenge at House-Mouse & Friends

I love an easel card!  This card was made using decoupage from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Project Book - I also love decoupage.  I used silicone gel for my layers this time, so I could add more shape to the design - it's a very 'deep' card!

This card is for a close friend who has a cat very like the one in the image.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge 153 - Hosted by me

 Good Morning and welcome to my blog

It's now March, which makes me very happy!  February has been a tough month but it's onwards and upwards!

It's nice to be getting some sunshine at the moment although it's still mighty cold!  The bulbs are coming up in the garden and starting to add a bit of colour.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and I have the pleasure of hosting.  I'm looking forward to seeing all of your fabulous creations.

Here is my card:

I used Bree Merryn's In The Wild from My Craft Studio to make my card, and turned the image into decoupage.  You can't really tell from the photo, but there are 4 layers.  I then added some pearls and die-cut a sentiment from black card using Hunkydory Sentiment dies.  I added a matching insert into the card to complete it.

This card is for a friend who loves elephants.  I also crocheted her an elephant!

 Today I'm sharing a card I've made for the House-Mouse & friends Monday Challenge.  This is one of my favourite challenges to enter and I hope to be a more regular participant this year.

The theme for this challenge is anything goes with the option of adding spring flowers.

This is such a fun image, taken from Joanna Sheen's triple cd-rom.  I opened the image in My Craft Stduio and made it into decoupage.  The backing paper was in among my print-outs and I now can't remember where it's from!  I stamped the Happy Birthday Sentiment.
