This little guy didn't have a name when I made the calendar, but has since been named Stanley.

Some of Bailey's siblings have Instagram accounts (as does Bailey), so we are able to see how they are getting on, which is lovely.  They were all very alike at first but are quite different now.

Bailey is still growing and is such a bundle of fun, a real tonic.  I can't imagine life without him now.  This is him with my daughter's.

As it's the start of a new challenge today over at CD Sunday Plus, I'm here to share another page of my calendar with you.  This time it features our own puppy, Bailey.

All the card used is from Creative Crafting World.  I printed onto Fabriano paper. The image on the left and the backing papers are from the Furry friends cd-rom. The calendar tab and lettering from Bree Merryn cd-rom.

Bailey continues to make us laugh and smile constantly and is such wonderful company. He's changed so much in the 3 months we've had him.

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #68

 Good morning 

Our new challenge starts today on CD Sunday Plus and this challenge is hosted by the lovely Margaret. 

Thanks to everyone who entered our last challenge, I now have the difficult task of choosing a top 3.

I've another page from my calendar to share this month, I hope I'm not boring you!!

This time features the gorgeous Bonnie, who was the pup most like Bailey when they were tiny.

The other image and backing papers were all from Joanna Sheen's Furry Friends cd-rom, all printed onto Lynda Chapman's fabriano paper. The calendar tab and lettering were from a Bree Merryn cd-rom. All cardstock used was from Creative Crafting World and the dies I used I've had a long time and can't remember where they're from!!

The puppies are now 21 weeks old and Bailey is growing at an alarming rate!! He is such a lovely boy.

I am sharing another page from my calendar, and today the star of the show is the lovely Maddie.

I used Lynda Chapman's 8 x 8 card blank, kraft card and Bree Merryn cd, together with an image and backing paper from Joanna Sheen's furry friends cd.

Bailey is growing at an alarming rate.  He can now get himself up and down the stairs and onto the couch.  Nowhere is safe!!

CD Sunday Plus Challenge #65 - Hosted by Carol

 Good morning and welcome.

A new challenge starts today at Cd Sunday Plus and we would love to have you join us.

I'm sharing another page from my calendar today and today we have the adorable Loki.

The photo is matted onto Woodstock cardstock from Creative Crafting World and the paper is from a Rachel Hale cd-rom from Joanna Sheen.

Everything on the opposite page, and the lettering, are from various Bree Merryn cd-rom's from both My Craft Studio and CCW. The black card is Lynda Chapman's famous black card.

Bailey is growing super fast and keeping us entertained. This week we had a day out to Llandudno. It's where my parents ashes are scattered so we visit when we can and leave flowers. It was very busy and he was a bit overwhelmed, so he had regular rides on my knee.

It was an eventful day. Emma had her ice-cream stolen by a seagull and when we got back to the car we had a flat tyre. As luck would have it, we were parked outside kwikfit, and even though they were closing up for the day, changed the tyre for us. Excellent service. 

Bailey slept all the way home.

Good Morning

Welcome to my blog today.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and we'd love to have you join in our challenge.  Full details and rules of the challenge can be found on the challenge blog.

Today I am sharing another page in the Thank You Calendar I made.  Today features the beautiful Mika.

 For the page with the photo I used Kraft card and Woodstock card from Lynda Chapman, printed a page from Joanna Sheen's furry friends cd-rom from the backing paper and die cut some little accessories.  The lettering was printed from a Bree Merryn cd-rom from Creative Crafting World.

On the opposite page, I used my Pollyanna Pickering Best of Breeds cd-rom for the image and backing paper.  The calendar tab was from the Bree Merryn cd-rom.  8 x 8 cards were used to create the calendar

Bailey has settled in even better than we hoped and is truly a little ray of sunshine.  He has well and truly captured my heart and reminds me of Murphy every day.

CD Sunday Plus #63 Hosted by Margaret

Good morning

A very warm welcome to my blog today.  Today is Father's Day in the UK and both my daughter's are staying here so they get to spend the day with their day.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus Challenge.  Thank you to everyone who entered our last challenge - I've now got quite a challenge in choosing the top 3!

As you may have seen in my previous post, we recently got a new Cocker Spaniel puppy.  I wanted to take a gift to the lady we got him from.  Bailey was one of 11 puppies, so with his mum Rosie, there were the perfect number to make a perpetual calendar.  Today I am sharing with you the front cover and 'July'.

The calendar was made using 12, 8 x 8 card blanks from Lynda Chapman.  I used Lynda's fabriano paper and card for all the printing (except the photos) as you are guaranteed excellent results.  I used glossy photo paper for the photos.

For the cover I printed the paw print paper from Joanna Sheen's Furry Friends cd-rom and used my (new) Crafters' Companion die to cut the word Thankful.  I the matted this onto Hunkydory's rainbow mirri card.  I chose a couple of sentiments from 'A Little Dog Laughed' card making kit to finish off the front.

Next is Miss July!!!  The puppies all wore a different coloured collar to identify them, so I used the colour of the puppies collar as the colour of the mats on the page they were featured on.  Lynda Chapman's famous black card and kraft card are featured throughout the calendar!

The backing paper behind Ivy's photo is from Krafty Hands Cute Puppies & Kittens cd-rom.  The lettering is all from Creative Crafting World Bree Merryn cd-rom as are all the Calendar Tabs.  The paper on the opposite page are from a Creative Crafting World paper kit, now available on a Paper Pantry USB.  I love this paper kit.  The die of the dog and boots is a Tattered Lace die.

It took many hours to make the calendar but I was really pleased with it when it was done.  I got a message of thanks from Rosie's owner to say she loved it and it made her cry!!

Bailey

 Good morning 

I'm delighted to introduce you to the newest member of our family.

This is Bailey. He's a Sable Roan Cocker Spaniel and is an absolute joy!!

Our house has felt so empty since we lost our gorgeous Murphy.  Bailey reminds me of Murphy in so many ways.

I've not stopped smiling since we got him. He is my little shadow. He's asleep on my knee as I type this post.  He's such a tonic

Good morning 

Today see's the start of our new challenge over at CD Sunday Plus and this time I have the pleasure of hosting.  Here is my card:

I used Centura Pearl card to create my card, which I embossed using a Creative Expressions embossing folder.  A Crafters Companion edge'able die was used to create the decorative edge.

I printed off the free iris vignette from Carnation Crafts, die cut it using their matching dies, decoupaged the image and then added it to my card.

I used Artwork by the fabulous Pollyanna Pickering, which I printed onto glossy photo paper, backing paper from the same cd-rom, as was the paper ribbon. Some card candy finished off my card.

All items used (except for the card candy,) were printed from Pollyanna Pickering Sketch Book Chapter V cd-rom by Creative Crafting World .

CD Sunday Plus Challenge 60 Hosted by Carol

Welcome to my blog today

Today sees the start of our next challenge and this time Carol is our hostess. Our theme is Anything Goes - as well as following the theme of the challenge, a CD, USB or Digital images, or any combination thereof, must have been used somewhere in the making of the card or project. It doesn’t have to be the whole card but it can be. It can be as small as perhaps a sentiment or a piece of backing paper- but there has to be some CD, USB or Digital source content somewhere together with everything else you have used. THE SOURCE MUST BE NAMED AND CREDITED.

Here is my card:

I have used dies and images from Tattered Lace Here and There Collection and the image is decoupaged.  I die cut the sentiment using Tattered Lace sentiment dies.

If you don’t have a blog you may still enter by sending your entry via email using the address shown in the right-hand sidebar on the challenge blog, or by posting a photo of your entry to the new Facebook page - The CD Sunday Plus Challenge.
