Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flowers In Bloom

Don't the months pass by quickly?  I can't believe we're now in June and today sees the start of a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge.  This month our theme is 'Flowers In Bloom' with optional swirls/flourishes.  Our sponsor for this month is Crafty Sentiments Designs.

Spotty backing paper came free with a magazine, punched with an x-cut border punch.

Flourish cut with a die-namics die from Dies To Die For

Flowers created using small Picot Edge circle die and coloured paper.

X-cut Botanical punch and emboss punch used to create leaves, 

heat embossed with crystal embossing powder.

Bakers twine and star peel offs used to create bunting from my stash.

My card for today is for a close friends birthday.  I used the beautiful new Cameo stamps from Joanna Sheen.

8 x 8 card blank

Image stamped onto parchment paper and heat embossed.  Pearls from stash added to frame.  

Centre image stamped again then Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel applied (5 layers)

Spellbinders Floral Oval die cut into black card. 

Corner stamped twice onto parchment paper and heat embossed.

Black edge strip punched with Martha Stewart deep edge punch.

White satin ribbon from Meiflower tied on Bowdabra.

Willow Sketchie Challenge

Sorry I've not been visiting your blogs as much as usual.  I'm not too great at the moment.

I wanted to share with you a card I've made for Willow Sketchie Challenge.  There is a sketch together with a theme of die cuts/punches.  I've followed both:

I used a Lili of the Valley cute square, which I added Antique Linen Distress ink to the edges.  The backing paper is from my stash.  I embossed some Core'dinations card and sanded it slightly.  I punched the edge with a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is LOTV stamped in Antique Linen.  The bakers twine and buttons are from my stash.
